Uganda has approx 2,300,000 orphans below the age of seventeen – they have been orphaned as a result of poverty, aids, war
and famine. Sponsor
New Beginnings aims to offer care, protection and love for some of these orphans and underprivileged children in the safety
of our children’s village in Nakasongola district in Central Uganda. We seek to provide a family orientated home
as well as education and medical care.
Any person wishing to visit New Beginnings Children’s Village whether for a day visit or overnight must contact the office
to obtain an Independent Application Form which must be submitted for a committee decision. An Access NI check will
also need to be processed.

We were very privileged to have Auntie Maggie join us throughout this choir tour. Maggie left her home and family in Michigan to spend almost 6 weeks volunteering with the choir in N.I. The children are so blessed to have another kind & caring Auntie. Maggie is a girl with many talents, making early morning porridge through to late night dance offs. Also, all credit for the video we shared with you yesterday must go to Maggie! 📹 All at New Beginnings are pleased to have met Maggie and to have the opportunity to work with her. Please pray for Maggie as she begins her journey back to her family tomorrow. Because we are missing these little faces so much we thought we would share this video with you! The choir are now settled back into school and their friends at the village have enjoyed hearing all the stories about Northern Ireland. We are so proud of the choir & everything they have achieved on their tour. At one of the concerts, Kato was asked what he was enjoying most about Northern Ireland and he said, "getting to be here & praising my God with a lot of power with my friends". I think we can all agree that this is what they done best!
